Vijeta Mishra

Vijeta heads the Corporate Litigation and General Corporate Practices at the firm and brings a decade’s worth of experience in, inter alia, all aspects of Commercial Law including but not limited to Private Equity, Mergers and Acquisitions, etc. Her proficiency lies in steering private equity deals, encompassing fund structuring, negotiations, due diligence, regulatory compliance, and exit strategies, across a diverse range of industries including technology, healthcare, micro-finance, fintech, and real estate. She also specializes in general corporate advisory and acquisitions and provides invaluable advice to her clients. This advice encompasses a wide range of issues, with a particular focus on the nuances of prevailing foreign exchange policies and regulations in India, the regulatory frameworks for non-banking finance companies, the Companies Act, and the intricacies of cross-border transactions and structuring.

Apart from focusing on commercial law, Vijeta also specializes in commercial litigation and arbitration and has represented clients before High Courts, NCLT, SAT and other Tribunals. She is a Fellow Member of Chartered Institute of Arbitrators, India.
